Linen Bread Bag – PDF Weaving Pattern

Linen Bread Bags

My dad bakes delicious sourdough bread and is very generous with his loaves – he never shows up empty handed! This linen bread bag is for every bread baker (or bread lover!) to store, share, and transport their baking. Linen is the ideal fibre for a hardworking handwoven bag – smooth and strong, it’ll stand up to multiple washes and age gracefully while also letting your bread breathe. It’s also a great way to incorporate more zero-waste practices in your kitchen, reducing the need for disposable plastics. This fast and simple project is woven to size and includes a clever way to weave matching handwoven bands on your floor loom, two different ways to sew the bands and shape the bag, as well as easy sewing instructions.

Read below for full project details.
