Seed Pod Towels – PDF Weaving Pattern

$8.00

The Seed Pod Towels were first designed for my Weave Quarterly subscription box with Gist Yarn in 2023. This adaptation of the original pattern has several differences: I’ve changed the yarn, sett, and adapted the seed pod shapes to make them rounder and less elongated than the original.

One thing that hasn’t changed is that this pattern has two distinct faces, one lighter and the other slightly darker. I’ve played with this effect by offering two treadling variations in this project for a set of complimentary, but different, towels. Always a tinkerer, I also experimented with several different materials for the pattern weft, which I share in the Tips & Variations page.
