Studio Curtain – PDF Weaving Pattern

Studio Curtains

The afternoon sun comes strongly into my studio, which faces west. I studied as a photographer and I love light – so I don’t want to keep it all out, just cut down on the heat and give myself a little more privacy at night.  The Studio Curtains utilize a pretty little draft that creates small lacy  ‘windows’ the kind a child would draw – a box bisected both vertically and horizontally. Two different ‘windows’ – one with vertical lines and the other with horizontal – result in a pattern with gentle movement. Light-as-air 2/16 cotton makes for easy to weave and care for curtains that glow in the afternoon and ripple wonderfully in the breeze.
